What Do You Want to Be?
Grayson told Maniac he always wanted to be a baseball player. What dreams do you have for when you are grown up? Describe them and why you envision this as the perfect fit for you.
When I grow up I want to be a basketball player because I have wanted to be one since I was 4 years old. I want to be one because basketball is my hobby and I play it every day with my friends, at practice, basketball games, and even by myself. I also want to play basketball because I have played 8 seasons and I only played one season where I only won one game. If I couldn’t play basketball I would play football, or be a computer engineer.
When I grow up I want to be a professional sports player. I want to be a sports player because I have been playing sports as long as I can remember. Not only do I want to be a sports player but, not to brag, you HAVE to admit I am pretty good at sports! My dad tells me that I can do anything I want to do if I practice and set my mind to it! Also Deon Branch, wide receiver for the Patriots, is my cousin!!!
What I want to be when I grow up is a tough question to answer. But if I had to choose I would be a zoo keeper, an animal trainer, or anything to do with animals! I can envision this being the perfect fit because I love ALL animals. Also I am really patient so you won’t see me getting annoyed if an animal is not doing what I want it to do. That is what I want to be and why.
When I grow up, I want to be a veterinarian. I think that being able to work with so many different animals will be a great pleasure, since I know that I can help animals, and I love helping injured or sick animals. It feels so fantastic when I help someone! It will be a perfect fit since I love animals. They are all so unique and beautiful! It will be very fun! Nothing else interests me like animals, and that won’t change for a while!
When I grow up I want to be a teacher. I want to be a teacher because I love interacting with kids and teaching them skills that they will use all their lives. Being a teacher is also community service which is one of my favorite things to do. I love helping our county and doing whatever I can to help. The people who inspire me to be a teacher are my teachers Ms. Cepero and Mr. Bray. They teach us so well and make learning really fun. Also my mom inspires me because she was a teacher and she taught at my school now! Being a teacher is a dream of mine and I hope I get to for fill that dream.
When I grow up I want to be a sport announcer for sport center. I think I would be good at this because I am energetic and love sports. I would prefer to do it for baseball but I would love doing it for football or basketball. Also I know a lot about those sports so when I go in for an interview I would say I played all of those sports growing up and that I could tell them a lot about baseball, football and basketball.
When I grow up, I want to own my own store and sell hand-made clothes, and it would double as a place for me to sell my artwork. I would have a desk in the corner that would also be a check out area, and 6 dressing rooms facing each other, with a tri-fold mirror in the middle. I have always wanted to do this, and have been drawing clothes since I was 4 years old. I really hope I get to do this because I like to come up with nice outfits to wear to school, that fit the dress code, but I kind of manipulate it. I also love to paint and sketch things a lot because art is one of my favorite subjects.
Like Grayson when I grow up I want to be a baseball player. I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. My best position is catcher. I play baseball every day, whether it is a game or practice or just throwing a tennis ball against a wall. I wanted to be a baseball player since I started playing. If I just keep practicing and trying my best I will be in the MLB.
When I grow up I want to be a NFL wide receiver. I want to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers and wear #83. I have always wanted to be a wide receiver because on my football team I am a wide receiver and I think I have really good hands.
When I grow up I would love to be an artist! I have enjoyed everything about art and I can’t wait to get home every day and draw, paint, color and make something new! I think art is very fun and it’s a great way to learn new things and it really brings out your creativity. I can envision this being the perfect fit because people tell me I’m artistic and I enjoy every bit of it. That’s why I want to be an artist and I hope I can fulfill my dream.

When I grow up I want to be some type of sports player. From when I was really little I loved sports. My two favorites are soccer and football so those two would be my first choice. Since I can kick pretty far, if I played football I’d be a kicker (in soccer you have to use your feet so kicking comes in often). I would also have to play in the top league.
When I grow up there are a few options that I can be like a lawyer, doctor or vet. If I had to pick it would be a doctor or veterinarian. I like helping others and saving them. I also like ALL animals so I would enjoy helping them all I can! I would love to help and please people/animals everyday. That’s why and what I want to be when I grow up.
When I grow up, I want to be in the military. I think it would be an honor to serve my country. Also for all that it holds for the people like freedom! (Also for the fame!) But if THAT doesn’t work out, I want to be a professional baseball player. I love baseball and I am really good at it. (Well, because that’s the only sport I play). That’s my plan/backup plan for what I want to be when I grow up and why.
I have always wanted to be a soccer player. The reason I want to do this is because I have been playing it since I was 3 years old. The reason I envision this is because I love to play the sport and I am getting better. I don’t know if I will make it but I hope I do.
When I grow up I want to be a vet. I would like to be a vet because ever since I was little I was an animal lover and ever since I’ve had pets I won’t get over them. When I become a vet I would groom pets I would train them and if you asked me a question about them I would know the answer off the top of my head. I love to save animals and play with them. So, I think this will be the perfect job for me.
When I grow up I want to work at a day care because I love little kids and love playing with them. The reason this job is a perfect fit for me because I have many, many cousins I am the 28th grandchild if that tells you anything and whenever my cousins come over we have so much fun! So I would have fun on the job. That is what I want to do when I grow up and hope I can.
When I grow up I want to be a few things. I want to be an actress and on my free time be a babysitter. The reason I want to be an actress is because I can control my feelings pretty well. Also because usually before I go out on a stage I get extremely embarrassed but as soon as I start acting I feel so go knowing everyone is watching me and I have a real talent not something I pretend I am good at, something I truly am good at. Also the reason I want to be a babysitter is when I help kids I feel good knowing I have helped someone and I did a good thing. People respect me and I can be the real me!
When I grow up, I want to be a doctor or a veterinarian. I love science, math and technology, so I think these jobs would be a perfect fit. I love animals, so being a veterinarian would be so much fun! I also like helping people and being a nice person, so a doctor would be perfect too. I am hoping that when I grow up, I will get one of these jobs and get enough money to lead a long, happy life.
